YATA (Youth Access To Alcohol)
The expressed purpose of YATA is:
"Normalising moderation and reducing harm across Taranaki, proactively and reactively"
The YATA group meetings provide a regular forum for discussions and the planning of activities. The group is also responsible for overseeing the implementation of these activities.
The activities of the YATA group are guided by their Annual Action Plan.

- South Taranaki District Council
- Taranaki District Health Board
- ACC
- Sport Taranaki
- ALAC
- Police
- Manaaki Oranga
- Waitara High School
- Mahia Mai A Whai Tara
The YATA group is open to all people and or organisations with an interest in helping to reduce alcohol related harm to young people.
