Between 30th June - 21st July 2009 there will be postal referendum asking the following question - "Should a smack as a part of good parental discipline be a criminal offence in New Zealand.?"

Beth Wood will be leading a discussion on the question and the implications of voting either yes or no in the upcoming Refendum on the 2007 child discipline law. The referendum is aimed at trying to get the 2007 child discipline law overturned.

Beth was a long standing advocate for the repeal of section 59 before 2007 and is spokesperson for EPOCH New Zealand.

Everyone is welcome to join in with this important discussion.
