Elder Abuse Services 

Te Hauora Pou Heretanga (Strengthening of the Health Pillar) provides free Taranaki wide Health Promotion, Disability Advocacy and Services for the older person. 

These include an Elder Abuse & Neglect Prevention (EANP) Service and EANP training; Home based Support Services; Whanau/Family Carer Support programme; Kaumatua Kuia Activity Programme; Diabetes/Asthma Advocacy Service; Maori Disability Service; Cultural Awareness training.

The Elder Abuse & Neglect Prevention Service is able to provide information, support, referrals and intervention for older people suffering from abuse and neglect.

We also provide support, information and advice for caregivers.
