Join us in our main celebration event for the International Day of the Older Person 2009. Free boat rides on the lake (with Sport Taranaki), Buggy Rides (with Friends of the Park), Live Music and a free cup of tea/coffee in the Tea House.

This event is free, and is open to all. Organised by New Plymouth injury Safe in partnership with Positive Ageing Trust, Friends of Pukekura Park and Sport Taranaki.

In the event of rain, music and free tea/coffee will still be available in the Tea House.

Rest Homes are welcome to attend. If attending by mini bus, please drop passengers off by the bandstand and park in the disability spaces or coned-off area in the Pavillion car park (to avoid works taking place at back of tea house). Thanks!
