Over 65's Home Safety Checks

A free home safety check service delivered by Age Concern using the ACC 'Standing up to Falls' booklet as a guideline. Service offered across Taranaki.

 

An Age Concern Fieldworker will book a visit to the house and will offer advice and guidance on how the reduce accident risks using a checklist from the Standing Up to Falls booklet (produced by ACC). The Fieldworker may install a non-slip shower mat and low wattage night lights if it is felt that these would be beneficial.
