Well Aware programme

A six-week community education programme for over 55's that focuses on health topics related to falls prevention including exercise, nutrition, medication, eyesight, footcare and home safety.

What is Well Aware?

The Well Aware programme runs for an hour a week, over a six week period, with sessions usually held alongside a Modified Tai Chi programme. The first Well Aware programme was held in July-August 2009 and received positive feedback from those who took part. Three more Well Aware programmes are planned over the next year and will be open to all over 55's.
