NZ MOUNTAIN SAFETY COUNCIL OUTDOOR FIRST AID COURSE 13th – 15th NOVEMBER 2009

 

Mountain Safety Taranaki is running a full weekend Outdoor First Aid Course at Vertical Horizons (Inglewood). The course starts on Friday night and runs through till Sunday afternoon. This comprehensive course covers the types of situations that can occur in the back country. The emphasis is on improvisation, coping without emergency services, evacuation and group management. An Outdoor First Aid certificate, valid for 2 years is issued to all successful participants. 

The cost of the course is $140 which covers food, accommodation and all course materials for the weekend. 

The course also offers unit standards 424, 6400, 6401 & 6402.
