Taranaki Alpine Club

The Taranaki Alpine Club (TAC) was formed in 1930 and has been active in the promotion of mountain sports in Taranaki ever since.

The Club provides training in alpine safety and rescue techniques, as well as providing guided trips that enable the general public to enjoy the mountain safely.
