TCS Logo The Cancer Society of New Zealand is the leading organisation dedicated to reducing the incidence of cancer and ensuring the best cancer care for everyone in New Zealand.

They are committed to improving community well being by reducing the impact and incidence of cancer, providing leadership in cancer control, working with communities, and providing core services in health promotion, support, information and research.

The local branch of the Cancer Society - Taranaki Cancer Society - are based at the TSB Cancer Support Centre, 71 Lorna Street, New Plymouth.

Taranaki Cancer Society run the local Sun Smart programme - a skin cancer prevention and UV protection programme delivering education on how to keep safe from the harmful UV rays during the summer months.
