Taranaki Regional Water Safety Group

 

The Regional Water Safety Group is coordinated by Water Safe New Zealand. and consists of a number of local organisations with an interest in water safety (e.g. Learn to Swim providers, Surf Lifesaving, Kidsafe Taranaki Trust and Sport Taranaki)

A Regional Water Safety Education Strategy has been developed to lead and develop regional specific water safety education initiatives to reduce the incidence of drowning in Taranaki, and New Zealand wide.

Regional water safety group meetings are held throughout the year for those with an interest in water safety in the region.
