Taranaki Swimming Centre

Taranaki Swimming Centre exists to promote, foster and encourage swimming and associated aquatic sports and disciplines within Taranaki, including water safety, recreation, education and competition.

Swimming Taranaki is affiliated with Swimming New Zealand Inc. as the national governing body of the sport of swimming.

They regulate and promote all aspects of competitive swimming in Taranaki and provide a uniform set of rules for the conduct of swimming competitions in Taranaki.

Learn to Swim in Taranaki

A number of local swimming clubs, affiliated to Taranaki Swimming Centre, exist across Taranaki. Some of these swimming clubs offer Quality Learn to Swim programmes while others provide more informal coaching sessions.
