Expo provides 'safety solutions' for local construction industry
The Taranaki Construction Safety Group have been busy once again, hosting an event aimed at promoting local health and safety companies.

A wide range of suppliers of health & safety equipment and training services came along to demonstrate their products to local construction industry workers at a Safety Solutions Expo in New Plymouth on 29th October. The event, organised by the Taranaki Construction Safety Focus Group, allowed local suppliers to network with each other and share information about their latest products and services.
As well as information stands, the event included guest speakers, presentations and product demonstrations. ACC and Dept of Labour staff were also on hand to provide information and advice on workplace safety issues. Activities included a working at height demonstration and a fire safety demonstration.
